VII Annual Scientific and Practical Conference "FOOD SAFETY NEWS & NUANCES 2018": Food Safety Practice was held on February 8, 2018 in Moscow at the Russian Academy of National Economy and Public Administration under the President of the Russian Federation. Since 2017, this event has become an international event, and in 2018 changed the format from a "seminar" to a "scientific and practical conference" due to actual reports from experts in the field of food safety.

During the scientific-practical conference, (the following issues were highlighted) such issues as actual changes in the legislation of Russian Federation and the Customs Union in the food industry, the issues of effective management of biological risks, important aspects of the food safety system, increasing the efficiency of the company's work were highlighted. Among the speakers were experts – the Federal Research Center named after V.M. Gorbatov, InterConsult, ASBC, ACO, Intersen-plus, XEMA, Rosinter Restaurants, SOYUZSNAB, McDonald's.

Statistics of conference

It should be noted that the number of participants is increasing every year. The event is becoming more popular, and this means that the topic of food safety is becoming global.

In 2018, almost the same percentage of the conference was attended by employees of food enterprises (meat, dairy, confectioneries, etc.) and representatives of the HoReCa segment.

From the data presented, it can be seen that a large proportion of the target audience consists of quality specialists, technologists, department heads and directors
News and nuances
Traditionally the conference and the exhibition were held together.
